Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've been a teacher for two years while also babysitting for going on 6 years now. Ive worked with all age groups, learning deficits, and target behaviors.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to play hide n seek, do puzzles, other arts and crafts, Simon says, gymnastics, and more physical exercise acitivities but my favorite is playing outside. Everything listed above is always better when conducted outside in my opinion, with the right bug repellent, sunscreen, and blanket to lay down you can turn any activity into a quick and fun at home picnic.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part about childcare is excercising reciprocity and continuity between parents and care-givers. Its crucial for children to know that yes we can have fun but there will always be clear communication between myself and their parents, along with the environment fostered between me and families.

My experience with special needs children...

In my past I have been required to work with Autistic children, and young children not yet diagnosed. It can be tedious and surprising at times but i have come to love learning more and more about the full spectrum. I have even been approved to become a Registered Behavior Technician in a couple facilities here in killeen.
