The most important part about being a nanny...
I think that the most important thing is building a relationship with the family, and always being there when they need you. Also making sure that the kids are getting everything they need weather it is care that they need, or even schoolwork they need to get done. Another big thing is making sure that the kids feel safe around me.

All throughout high school I was always helping out in the special needs room and doing activities with them, I also have a cousin who has special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment is just getting to help them learn, while also making fun activities out of it, and just seeing the smile on kids faces!

I have been doing childcare since my oldest was 1 when I decided I wanted to spend as much time as I possibly could with her while she was little. I started by working for a daycare center in the infant room while my daughter was just across the hall so I could see her often. From there I went on to private nannying where I was able to bring my daughter with for a family of 3 with twin boys until they moved to a different town further away.
