Sitter for Ages 3–7
I’m a responsible and caring babysitter with several years of hands-on experience. I started by taking care of my younger siblings, now ages 5 and 7, and currently babysit for a family with two children, ages 3 and 6. I’m comfortable with daily routines, homework help, meal prep, light cleaning, and bedtime. I enjoy creating fun and engaging activities, whether that’s crafts, reading, outdoor play, or learning games. Families describe me as patient, dependable, and great with kids. I’m finishing school and available for after-school care, evenings, and weekends. I love helping children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and play.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love planning fun, age-appropriate activities that keep kids active, creative, and learning. Some of my favorite things to do include reading storybooks together, playing outside, doing simple arts and crafts, building with toys and blocks, and creating imaginative games. I also enjoy helping with homework, practicing letters or numbers, and setting up quiet-time activities like coloring or puzzles. Whether it’s indoor play, outdoor adventures, or calm learning moments, I always make sure the time is safe, fun, and meaningful.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing is trust.
If a child trusts you, they’ll open up, try new things, learn more easily, and feel comfortable in your care. If parents trust you, they can leave the house knowing their little ones are in good hands.
Everything else flows from that:
• being patient
• showing kindness
• staying consistent
• keeping routines
• communicating clearly
• and really paying attention to who each child is
A nanny isn’t just a helper — they become part of a child’s world. And when you honor that role with care and reliability, that’s when the magic happens.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a babysitter was helping the 6-year-old boy I watch learn to read a new story on his own. We had been practicing together for weeks, taking turns reading pages and sounding out tricky words. One afternoon, he picked up the book and read almost the entire story by himself. The huge smile on his face was unforgettable. Watching his confidence grow and seeing how proud he was made me just as proud. Moments like that—when kids discover what they’re capable of—are why I love babysitting.
