More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have volunteered at my old elementary school to watch kids as their parents were in a meeting. I also babysit my little cousins and family friends younger brother. Their ages range from 2-10 year olds. It takes patience watching kids which I have learned from my past experience.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy painting and drawing a lot which could be fun for the kids and can expand their creativity. Going on walks to the park or around the neighborhood is good so you can get some fresh air and have a break from being inside all day. I also enjoy playing video games which can boost your learning and can help with problem solving / logic.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I want to be able to be there for them if they aren't feeling well. I want to be someone they can trust and come talk to. I can teach them things they need to know that can help them with their everyday life as they grow up. I can give them advice about anything they need and help with school if needed. When I grew up, I always want to make sure everyone was alright and safe. I care a lot about people especially younger ones. Their safety and happiness would be my first priority.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Whenever I watch my little cousins, we would play hide and seek. I would walk around the house for maybe 5 minutes even if I saw them. Once I found them they would start laughing so much and would want to count next. I like playing hide and seek because it teaches them some skills. They can practice counting to a certain number, and then they would have to do some thinking as to where I would hide. I always have a great time and so do the kids.
