A little bit about me

I have 20+ years of nannying experience, both with neurotypical and neurodivergent kids, as well as for kids with physical disabilities. I’ve also taught in an autism school, run theatre and writing workshops for kids and teens, provided foster respite care for many years, and was an aide in pre-k and kindergarten classrooms while in college. I also have a Master’s degree in Children's Literature. In addition to working with kids, I love animals, writing, reading, community theatre, travel, swimming, board games, and art projects. I have been certified in CPR, First Aid, and PMT/CPI, have completed ASL I, and am familiar with using and creating PECS books for nonspeaking children.

Some of my favorite nannying memories include taking a set of twins of Sesame Place, teaching a nonspeaking autistic boy to type conversations, roller rink play dates, co-creating a stopmotion movie with kids as a Christmas gift for their family, and visiting the Museum of Chocolate in Paris with the kids.
