Watching the growth of a child before she moved to a different state— She started out with tough behavioral and emotional issues that caused her to require special care. With the help of many teachers and therapists including myself, she grew so much. By the end of her time with us, I watched her be able to use her words to express her feelings instead of using behaviors. She began to self regulate her emotions by letting others know how she feels. It was a very emotional moment for me watching her leave on her last day, but heart warming knowing that she will thrive on her new journey.
