Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In addition to nannying, I’ve worked as a lead preschool teacher and a lead infant and toddler teacher, where I supported children ages 6 weeks to 5 years in both structured classroom and play-based environments. In these roles, I planned and implemented lesson plans, tracked developmental progress, and collaborated closely with families to support each child’s individual needs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to balance structure, creativity, and emotional support in my care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy doing art with kiddos and outdoor play. I love watching them get creative, build confidence, and just be themselves. I also enjoy being hands on during play and using those moments to support their development in a fun and natural way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is building a strong connection with the child so they feel safe, comfortable, and able to trust me. That connection helps them grow and explore with confidence. It’s also important to build a relationship with the parents so they feel secure, supported, and able to trust me with their child as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience supporting children with a variety of developmental needs, including torticollis, plagiocephaly, epilepsy, and children recovering from tongue-tie procedures. I’ve worked alongside physical therapists, speech therapists, and other specialists, and I’m comfortable implementing recommended exercises and routines into daily care. I’m very patient and attentive, and I always aim to support each child at their individual pace while maintaining a nurturing and encouraging environment.
