A little bit about me

I have had the privilege of working with children in various settings, including through Intermountain mental health services as a mental health specialist of all ages. Prior to that, my mother owned a daycare called "House of Cribs" located in Orlando Florida. I am also the parent of 3 children. I am a co-owner of an Asian food truck part time and only work weekends and full-time in the summer. Children grow up so quickly so caring for various ages has helped me grow as a nanny knowing each child has very different needs to cater to. Its important to be flexible and patient. I come from a very large family with a single mom who struggled financially. We had to be creative and acclimate to our surroundings. I am very crafty and can work with almost anything to keep any child happy and entertained. I am also bilingual and can teach your child Spanish if you'd like to add that to their routine. I can also, prepare meals, clean, organize, house sit, dog sit to name and few things.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have both volunteered and worked for Intermountain as well as at Florida childrens hospital caring for kids with terminal sicknesses. I also helped my mother run her own daycare called "House of cribs" based out of Orlando Florida. My duties were to coordinate children activities and prepare meals. I was also a stay at home mom for 5 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Thr best part of caring for kids is having the opportunity to be a kid again and experience all the fun new games as well as introducing some of the classic games I remember as a kid. I believe coming from a huge family with over 16 neices and nephews and being dubbed the favorite aunt, I've had the privilege to create new and fun ways to entertain them whist being a kid again

The most important part about being a nanny...

Whats important to me as a nanny is ensuring the child feels physically and emotionally secure at all times and that the parents feel safe leaving their child for the day

My experience with special needs children...

I cared for children of all ages with adverse childhood experiences and mental helath issues. Being a child who grow up in a broken home, i felt the position was a great fit as I was able to use my past experiences as a tool to help.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Kids do the darnedest things. From shaving their eye brows off to covering themselves with peanut butter for the dogs to lick off. The possibilities are endless
