More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Working as a nanny while attending Kansas State University, where I care for three children ages 1, 2, and 3. In this role, I manage daily routines such as feeding, diaper changes, nap schedules, and playtime, while creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment. I plan age-appropriate activities, encourage learning through play, and help support their development and social skills. This experience has strengthened my patience, multitasking, and ability to stay calm, attentive, and nurturing in a busy setting.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing a mix of fun and engaging activities that keep kids active and learning at the same time! Some of my favorite things include playing outside, going on walks, and spending time at the park. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading books, building with toys, and coming up with creative games. With younger kids, I like to incorporate music, dancing, and hands-on activities that support their development. I always try to keep things fun, interactive, and age-appropriate while making sure everyone is having a great time!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a real connection with the kids. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and happy around me, like they can be themselves and know I’m someone they can count on. I think it’s all about being patient, present, and genuinely caring, whether that’s playing with them, helping them through tough moments, or just being there for the little everyday things. Creating that kind of bond is what makes the experience so special.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was on my last day, when the girls told me they loved me and would miss me. It meant so much to know that I made a positive impact on their lives and built such a special bond with them. That moment really reminded me why I love working with kids so much.

Hi! I am going into my second year at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, but I grew up in Omaha with many young siblings and babysitting experience. I’ve always loved working with kids and getting to be part of their everyday milestones. I’m an outgoing, yet easygoing, positive person and I enjoy keeping kids busy and entertained with games, crafts, or just running around outside until everyone’s a little tired.
I always have a good time with kids and prioritize person-centered connections from my previous work with children who have disabilities. I know when it’s time to be responsible, and I always prioritize safety, kindness, and clear communication. I’m patient, reliable, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable leaving their kids with someone they trust.

"Hello! My name is Jocelyn Hayduk, and I am a dedicated caregiver with over four years of experience in babysitting and nannying. My lifelong passion for supporting and advocating for children has led me to my current path as a student pursuing a degree in School Psychology.
I pride myself on providing a safe, educational, and high-energy environment for the children in my care. Because safety is my top priority, I am CNA certified as well as BLS and CPR certified.
