More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve done a lot of caregiving for family and friends throughout my years for children of all ages. I spent about three years caring for a baby boy from birth to three, and have also worked in the medical field as an NICU Family Advocate. Before that I worked in OBGYN and Women’s Health for seven years, Orthopedics and Interventional Pain and Spine for over five years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities include reading, playtime from tummy time to music, singing and dancing, art and movement. I really do love to sing and know that’s it’s a creative and enriching outlet for little ones. Outside activities would be safe texture touch, like grass, leaves, sand and paint. Water time if allowed of course with constant supervision, walks and playing in the yard.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny ismaking sure that baby/child feels safe and also that mom/dad feel confident in leaving their little ones in stable hands. I was a single mom for a time so I understand how difficult it is to leave your little one to go back to work, responsibilities or even a trip or night out. You feeling confident and comfortable knowing that your baby is getting the best care possible is the most important thing after your child’s safety and comfortability!
My experience with special needs children...
My youngest son was born at 27 weeks making him an extreme preemie. I cared for him for four months in the NICU and when he came home he was still on oxygen for about two months, and a plethora of medications and a nebulizer. It was a 24/7 job, but I loved watching him get healthier by the day. It was this experience that catalysted me into becoming a NICU Family Advocate at St Joseph’s Hospital.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Too many to count. Honestly everyday was a delight but the ones that stand out was how kids think and process the world in their little minds. Clever little ways of explaining things and my favorites were when they would overcome a challenge on their own and seeing their strength and confidence grow.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Tacoma, WA: Kyaria C.
I am a warm, dependable, and connection-focused caregiver who believes children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and encouraged to explore. My approach centers around play-based learning, outdoor time, and building strong, trusting relationships with the children I care for. I love supporting curiosity through imaginative play, creative activities, and hands-on experiences while also providing gentle structure and consistency. I value open communication with parents and strive to create a calm, nurturing environment where children can grow emotionally and socially. Because my husband will be away for military training, my two daughters (5 and almost 3) will be with me, creating a natural, social setting where kids can learn friendship and cooperation. I am patient, attentive, and truly enjoy creating meaningful connections while helping families feel supported and at ease.
Babysitter Available in Tacoma, WA: Braydon B.
Hi, I’m Braydon, and my heart belongs to the tiniest humans on earth.
With 4 years of dedicated experience caring for infants from newborn through 4 years,I’m not yet CPR or First Aid certified, but I am willing to get them if that brings more comfort. I follow every parent’s routine like it’s my own—whether that means cluster feeding at 2 a.m., tummy time marathons, or singing the same lullaby until those little eyelids finally flutter shut. I bring patience that doesn’t run out, hands that are gentle but confident, and a calm energy that helps even the most colicky babies settle.
Parents tell me they come home to happy, well-rested babies… and that’s the best paycheck I could ever ask for. If you’re looking for someone who will love your baby like family while you’re away, I’d be honored to be that person.
I’m local to Tacoma and ready to meet your little one. 💕”
