The most important part about being a nanny is being patient with the kids. Every child is different and every child handles a situation at their own leisure. As a nanny you have to understand that and learn the child so you can give them the proper care to suit them.

I’ve worked with autistic children from ages 5 to 8. I also work with children with speech disabilities, as well as children with tourette's syndrome and ADHD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment as a nanny would be when one of my kids was scared of me because the color of my hair, it was red, but he thought it was pink and he hates pink. Once I explained to him it was red he apologized and he’s been stuck to my hip ever since.
