I have a 18 yr old daughter. Man where does the time go my one n only baby is all grown up now. I love children. They are so precious. These ages are so precious but yet critical as well. As nanys its not just "watching" a child its comforting n loving a child. I know finding a nanny can be overwhelming due to trust n comfort. Well allow me to put your mind at easy. My experience with special needs children...

I have a little experience ive cared for special needs children a few times. My daughter was born with a closed ear. I use to make her smile by telling her her ear being the way it was made her extra special because the average person does have a ear like hers. I try to let her know she should never be ashamed or feel like somethings wrong with her. I think God sees us thru everything. We may face things that doesn't seem fair thru our journey but we dont have to face them alone. I know a child with special needs needs extra care and that can be overwhelming at times. So im a nany that makes sure the child is OK but also check on the parents as well.
