Hi! My name is Annabella, and I’m an 18-year-old full-time college student with a strong passion for working with children. I have years of hands-on experience caring for my five siblings, including younger siblings under 10 and siblings with autism. Growing up in a big family has made me incredibly patient, adaptable, and responsible.
I’m First Aid certified and comfortable caring for children ages 3–12+. I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and structured environment where kids feel supported and heard. I’m happy to help with homework, prepare meals, assist with light house cleaning and pick-ups, provide pet care, and handle school pick-ups or driving when needed.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

As the oldest of five siblings, I have naturally taken on a leadership and caregiving role within my family. I am often the person my parents rely on when they need childcare, whether it’s supervising daily routines, helping with homework, preparing meals, or managing bedtime. With several younger siblings, including some under the age of 10, I have developed strong patience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. I have also regularly cared for my younger cousins, giving me experience managing multiple children at once in different age groups. Growing up in a large family has given me hands-on, real-life childcare experience that has prepared me to confidently care for other families’ children.

I enjoy creating fun and engaging activities that keep children active, creative, and learning. I love doing arts and crafts, outdoor play, board games, and imaginative play. I’m also happy to read stories, help with homework, and come up with educational activities that make learning enjoyable. Depending on the child’s interests and age, I can plan structured activities or simply encourage creative free play. My goal is always to make sure children feel safe, entertained, and supported while having fun.

I have personal, hands-on experience caring for children with special needs, as I have twin siblings who have autism. Growing up alongside them has taught me patience, understanding, and how to adapt to different communication styles and sensory needs. I am familiar with maintaining routines, providing calm support during overwhelming moments, and creating a structured yet flexible environment. This experience has helped me become more attentive, compassionate, and responsive to each child’s individual needs.
