I currently work for the Merced County Office of Education, I have paid experience of three years working with infants, plus personal experience of 18 years. I have raised three kids of my own. I'm currently attending Fresno Pacific University majoring in Early Childhood Education. My passion is to work with children, I love what I do on a daily basis. I am currently working on the Special Education Department, so I do have experience working with children with special needs. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in an early intervention program with children ages 0-3. I have some experience teaching children basic sign language as well as to improve their language skills as I used to provide language techniques to parents of students who had a speech delay. I also have experience in teaching children the basics in reading, sounds, letter recognition, alphabet, shapes, colors, as well as labeling items for language development.

I enjoy creating Velcro activities, coloring and painting activities. Drawing, writings, tracing activities. Interactive games, homework activities. Exercise activities, dancing, face painting, crocheting.

Being able to make a difference in a child's life and being able to help out families while at the same time you have an income. Doing what I love is the most important part of being a nanny despite the challenges.
