I cared for one boy with autism in my career as a daycare teacher, otherwise I have had very little experience working with them. I look forward to learning all I can and looking after more friends with different abilities. I am flexible, paitent, and caring. I will do everything in my power to learn and help children who's experiences differ from others.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think my favorite moment was when I was caring for a young 3-year-old boy. We were outside playing with bubbles and he saw a fly, he was curious but very scared. I told him what flies were, found a picture on my phone to show him, and made him laugh with a story about them. He and I watched it from a distance and he soon conquered his fear of the bug
