Hello! My name is Olivia. I love to be with children. The passion and purpose of my life is to enhance the lives of children. I am a junior at a university at the moment. After I graduate, I plan to eventually work in adoption or foster care. From December 2021 to September 2023 I worked as a regular private in-home childcare for a family of five children (age 2 to 8). One of the happiest and most rewarding moments is when a kid accidentally calls you mom. Because to me it means that I've succeeded in my goal of developing a connection with a child where they feel completely seen, comfortable, and safe with me to confuse me with the person who loves them the most. The kids I nannied accidentally called me mom all the time. Truely, I became their part-time mom. In that role is where I've felt most happy.
