Hey! My name is Olivia and I have been working with kids in some capacity since I was 14 (I am 20 now). One family in particular i have helped weekly for the past four years prior to my relocation to Montgomery. I have worked with kids from all different backgrounds such as foster kids, special needs, autistic, etc. in childcare settings like after-school, adult Bible study/small group, and individual families.
I love kids, helping them learn new things, and working alongside parents to help with their goals. I would love to help you and your family while getting to know and help your kiddos!

Playing outside, doing crafts, baking simple recipes, playing board/card games, building blocks, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Not only is being patient important, but having enough awareness of a situation to know if a child is becoming overwhelmed, not feeling seen enough, or just overall if they are enjoying whatever task is at hand. I would say being aware, and having enough grace for children to have fun and be kids while doing it safely and without causing ultimate chaos, are the most important parts of being a childcare provider.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for special needs children in multiple capacities. Such as helping different individuals with autism spectrum disorder, non-verbal communicators, ADD, ADHD and many other special needs. All whom I have cared for long allotted amounts of time and helped them enjoy it while away from parents.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Getting Christmas gifts for the 4 kids I have had the pleasure of helping and watching them grow up for the past four years, and spending all afternoon playing with them.
