Hey, I'm Olivia and I've been working with children since my freshman year of high school. I initially found my passion for working with kids when I became a summer camp counselor at Camp Rotary. I also was employed at Champions for Life after high school which furthered my passion of working with children. Currently I’m working on getting my degree in Early Childhood Education so I can open my own daycare. However while I’ve been going to school I’ve also been looking to babysit on the weekends. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I took babysitting courses for two summers.
I took a child psychology and development class from sophomore year to junior year of high school.
I worked at Camp Rotary for two summers as a Summer Camp Counselor.
I babysat for multiple different families with many different needs.
I worked at Champions for life as birthday party staff, a homeschool PE teacher, a Family Support Service (FSS) Counselor, a summer camp counselor, and a front desk receptionist.
Now I’m going to college for a degree in early childhood development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love art so DIY activities and crafts are great activities for me to guide children through. I also love the outdoors so walks, and yard games are some of my favorite activities while caring for a child.

The most important part of working with kids for me is building a positive relationship with the child and helping them reach their personal goals through guiding behavior and positive reinforcement.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I worked at Camp Rotary, there was a camper that was obsessed with snoopy. That's all he would talk about, it was the cutest thing ever. At the end of camp, I gave all my campers paper plate awards (His being "Snoopy's best friend"). When I announced his award he lit up, jumping up and down out of joy. That feeling to make such a pure and happy memory for a child is what makes all the challenging moments worth it.
