Hi, my name is Olivia I am 18 years old. I speak fluent Portuguese, Spanish and English of course I absolutely adore working with kids. I moved to Stansbury not too long ago and I’m trying to find babysitting jobs around here. I have a special needs little brother who is 8 years old so I have a lot of experience working with kids and trying to understand them a little better I would love to get to know your little one if you give me the opportunity I am very excited about this job and and I’m willing to do my very best at it I am a responsible and kind person who is always on time and I’m always striving to do better. I am completely okay with tidying up your home if kids make a mess, which happens a lot lol. My driving classes start pretty soon and I will be getting my drivers license in the start of next year, so I am not available to pick up your little one from school yet.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am almost a CNA certified nursing assistant. I was peer tutor for special-needs kids in high school. I have worked multiple babysitting jobs for over six years I take care of my little brother very regularly.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy drawing playing hide and seek baking play, interactive games, and doing basically everything except Screen Time, very rarely if kids ask, we can do a movie night after homework is done always :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Tell me the most important part about caring for kids is being a respectful, responsible, reliable, kind, and caring person. Kids are still figuring out everything about life and they deserve someone. By their side who can help them and guide them to make smart choices being a good babysitter/nanny doesn’t always mean only doing fun things. We have to get responsibilities done and then the fun things come after that everybody deserves a little fun in their lives and I am happy to bring that into your little ones lives.

My experience with special needs children...

I was a peer tutor in high school and that year of doing that class really helped me understand how different their world is to our world and in the same time very similar I learned that we treat them equally, but with some exceptions sometimes special needs children need different care and different forms of speaking to us.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I was babysitting this little girl, and she really wanted to go jump in a puddle outside so we put on her cute little yellow boots and we went to go jump in the puddle, and the smile on her face was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. At first. I didn’t really want to take her because it was gonna make a mess but then I thought about it we are only that little once in our lives, and if not now, when are we going to want to jump into a puddle and find so much happiness into those little things in life. That is what childhood is about and to this day, I still remember that moment, and will never forget it.
