Hi! I am a creative, flexible person who loves teaching children about the environment, the outdoors, and music. I previously worked for two years as a summer camp counselor to students in grades 3-12 leading programs including music, environmental awareness activities and day trips and I was a leader of weeklong backcountry wilderness trips for students in grades 6-12. I am CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certified. I also worked as a counselor at a music camp coaching students in grades 6-12 and I have run a small private violin studio teaching students for the past two years. I also previously recorded a children's album about the environment after receiving a grant to go into an elementary school and teach children about the environment through music. I am passionate about encouraging children to use their minds, be active, and respect what's around them while having fun doing it!
