Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at a daycare in my hometown (Baytown) in the latter half of 2020 (before moving for college) which required me to teach, take care of, and prepare meals/lesson plans for children aged 24-48 months. Additionally, I aided in the process of potty training 2 and 3 year olds.

I enjoy coloring, building/constructing projects, reading to and with the kids, as well as imaginative play!

I believe the most important part of taking care of children is helping to develop their social and emotional needs/skills, as well as providing any and all immediate types of care and attention.
My experience with special needs children...
At the daycare I worked at, I took care of children who had physical disabilities such as a loss of motor functions as well as children who were on the autism spectrum or had down syndrome.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Working at the daycare required me to be up and at it by about 5 a.m. every morning and it was definitely something to adjust to, but it was always so worth it once the kids started to get dropped off and were super excited to see me and the other teachers. Also, during Thanksgiving and Christmas, I worked with the kids to make cute little turkey handprints and Christmas ornaments which had pictures of them in Santa hats or elf ears!
