Knowing child care is not one size fits all
My experience with special needs children...
I was a weekend sitter for a family of 3 girls. They’re oldest daughter had autism and helped me learn to be more patient and understanding. I soon was able to realize that not everyone thinks the same and nannying and parenting is not one size fits all. I quickly learned to identify her triggers and how to manage occasional emotional and behavioral outbursts.

My favorite nanny moment was a Memorial Day weekend. I had a barbecue with the family I was caring for and helped watch the kiddos while my boss was out completing last minute tasks. We made a USA theme charcuterie board and s’mores casserole. I cherished that day bonding with the kids and getting creative😊💗
