A little bit about me

I am 21yr old and have been working as an official nanny for about 2 1/2 years now, but have been working with children basically my whole life! I just recently had a beautiful babygirl who is turning a month old and as my partner orients back to work I would also like to be able to contribute at least a little while also focusing on our daughters growth and development. I’m looking for a part time occasional position, or even something with a family where you’d be comfterable with my daughter tagging along for a cheaper rate! (Of course would need further discussion). I follow a heavy Montessori style with the kids I nanny and prefer to get outside, do projects, attend events at the local library’s and other kid oriented events around the regent! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have spent most my life growing up and taking care of children :) I love watching them grow and become big kids, my most recent was working with two younger boys who had just been adopted from china, I speak a bit of mandarin and was able to help them learn some English and make local friends at surrounding parks!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Coloring, painting (with clean up time ) , sports adapted to the child’s ability and age, reading stories, and arts and crafts! Everyone loves making hand turkeys :)

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with a system called, the buddy system for about three years which specifically supported children who needed a bit more extra help!
