The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny puts me in a place of responsibility for a child that is not mine. I believe God has called me to be that. Though I did not give birth to that child, I have been chosen to care as if they are my own and I see that as an honor.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently babysit two children who are special-needs. They're too young, lovable, fun boys, one of them has down syndrome and the other has nonverbal autism. They are literally the sweetest and they teach me more and more every time I babysit them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when three different families that I babysit for all needed me on the same day, and I ended up taking care of all of the children. It was three of them and we had such a blast at the park. We got ice cream, went to the store, and did a lot of karaoke and dancing.
