More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I used to volunteer at a children’s hospital and a church camp as a group leader for preschoolers, I’ve been doing this every summer for the last 3 years and I’m planning on going into child development for collage.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
There are many fun activities you can enjoy with children. Take them outdoors to play in parks or go for nature walks. Get creative with arts and crafts like painting or making DIY crafts. Have engaging storytime sessions with books and puppets. Dance and sing together or create music with homemade instruments. Explore science through simple experiments or bond over baking and cooking. Encourage imaginative play with pretend kitchens or adventure games. Play board games, puzzles, or educational games to learn while having fun. Explore nature by planting a garden or observing wildlife. These activities promote creativity, learning, and quality time together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is establishing a strong, trusting relationship with the children. This involves understanding their individual needs, interests, and developmental stages to provide a nurturing environment where they can thrive emotionally and intellectually. Effective communication with parents is key for alignment and updates. Beyond caregiving, it's about getting to know them on a deeper level and ensuring they understand I'm not just there to take care of them but also to be their buddy and support system.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve had some experience with special needs children, with the experience I have had I’ve learned that they are so kind and talkative once you get them to open up and I really enjoy being able to care for them whilst getting to know them and what they like to do for fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was taking care of a3 1 year old baby boy and he ran out into the living room from going potty and he told me that “he just took a longer poop then his daddy ever has” I was dying laughing he was one of my favorite little boys to care for.

Hi! My name is Michaella and I was born and raised in Wisconsin. My husband and I moved to Washington eight years ago. I enjoy hiking, camping and anything outdoors. I've worked with kiddos for 10 years and originally went to college for education. From a young age I babysat, volunteered in classrooms (my mother was a teacher) then worked as an assistant teacher at a daycare where I was promoted to head teacher in the infant room. From there I worked as a full time nanny for four years to the best kiddo and now I have my own little squirt.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Puyallup, WA: Allison P.
Hi there, I'm Allison!
I'm currently looking for a new nanny position. I started at a young age(13) babysitting. I continued to till I got an office job at 19. That only lasted 2 years before I realized it wasn't what I was meant to do and working with kids was what I needed. I became a nanny till I got a job as a preschool teacher, where I taught for 3 years. Life happens and before we knew it, we were having one of our own! Unfortunately, my teaching has come to an end for now as I would love to find something that includes my 1.5 year old.
I'm extremely optimistic in this journey to finding the perfect family to do a little bit of life with. I can't wait to get to know you! 😄
