Making the kids and parents happy while fulfilling every aspect of your job. Also having a positive attitude and great enthusiasm :) patience, good communication, being reliable, and staying cool under pressure are also wonderful qualities to have!
My experience with special needs children...
In high school I was consistently in the special needs classroom before my lacrosse practice because our coach was the teacher of the special needs classes. I’ve always loved having conversations with people with different perspectives than me and almost every time I talk to anyone with special needs they have the most beautiful personalities :) this being said, I am only used to older children with special needs however, I would never turn down a younger child <3
