During my time as a wilderness therapy guide I often worked with adolescents with autism. Being in the field meant mentoring them through outdoor activities (such as hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing...) and basic life skills (such as cooking, personal hygiene, completing therapeutic and academic assignments).
