A little bit about me

I am a young creative 20 year old who is looking to become a nanny full time. I love taking care of children very much. I’ve taken care of my brother and my two grandmas for the past 10 years+ That including cleaning house, washing clothing, cooking taking care of several pets at a time. I’ve baby sat several times and for a whole summer I worked for a lady taking care of her two children on and off through out the week for about 3 months. I’d wake them up and get them breakfast and play with them and take them to the park and on walks. We did lots of crafts and art because I am an artist and I went to a school for my junior and senior year for graphic design and hands on art. I graduated from there in 2019. I worked at Olive Garden as a busier, hostess, busier trainer, hostess trainer, and a sever from [phone number hidden] and then from 2020-to present I’ve been working at amazon as a order picker but I’m looking at find a job where I can be more expressive and creative with children.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a volunteer teachers aid for a school that I went to in 6-8 grade and I helped teach kindergarten through fourth grade students and I read to them and I taught them the ABC’s and we went and played on the playground and we would draw with chalk and play hopscotch and we would draw in the classroom and eat snacks I would prepare for them.
I’ve also done Girl Scouts and volunteered for Boy Scouts and I’ve also volunteered for Cub Scouts. I have done school volunteer car washes. I have also planned and have had multiple Neighborhood cul-de-sac parties with children where we’ve done summer things fall things winter things and celebrating holidays and just doing group things together at my grandma and grandpas neighborhood.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love Drawing, reading, gardening, crafts, reading and writing Activities, going to the park, going on walks, going to the store and getting art supplies, playing board games, baking/making snacks, I also like to do make up and dress up or playing sport like things like “soccer, baseball, volleyball, yoga”. Doing homework, teaching, watching movies and making music or listening to music.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is taking care of the children and doing my duties as a nanny. Also being a great role model.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve never watched a child with special needs but when I was in Girl Scouts I was one of the special needs helpers who would walk with them during hikes and would do crafts with them and activities with them all the time and I think I’m pretty good at working with any kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When we do art together or they make me something that was hard work to them and they give it to me. It fills my heart with so much love and joy. Children are so fun and imaginative. Or when we have lots of fun outside.
