I have 6-7 years of multiple kinds of experience with babysitting children. I love kids and one day I want to have my own. I am studying to become an elementary school teacher so I’m in college which allows me more flexibility with my schedule. I love coming up with fun activities to do while babysitting like art projects, building with blocks or legos, reading stories, going to the park, ect. I want to make money by doing something I love, taking care of children. I can cook and clean. I know life with kids can be messy so I would be happy to help with dishes or laundry. I would be interested in a part-time long term babysitting job. I know how to do CPR on babies and older kids. I also was taught how to do the Heimlich maneuver. I will work hard. The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my kids had broken her coller bone and had to wear a sling ( she breaks more bones in her 7 year long life than I have in my 17 years) anyway I was babysitting her and her brother one night and she needed to get in her pajamas so they could go to bed. She had to take the sling off so she could change. The sling has two parts and she needed me to help her take it off and then put it back on when she was in her pj’s. I got it off but then I asked her how to put it back on because it was complicated and she knew how cause she had been doing it every night for weeks. She giggled and started telling me how very vaguely. “ put the thing on the things that are there that are on it and wrap the one around the thing!” ( she didn’t point). I knew she wanted to avoid bedtime cause she wanted to play more so she was Messing with me. It made me proud honestly. I figured it out not long after but the entire time she was giggling. She’s clever and I love those moments.
