My experience with special needs children...
I have had the privilege of gaining valuable experience working with diverse groups of children in a pool setting. During my time as a swimming teacher, I had the opportunity to work closely with children who had Down syndrome and wheelchair users.
In this role, I learned the importance of tailoring my teaching methods to accommodate the unique needs of each child. I developed a patient and empathetic approach, which allowed me to create a supportive and inclusive environment. Teaching children to swim was not only a rewarding experience for them but also a tremendous learning opportunity for me.
These experiences have enhanced my ability to adapt to different learning styles and abilities and have deepened my commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable swimming experience for all children. I am excited to bring this expertise and my passion for helping children grow and succeed to a new role where I can make a positive impact.
