A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Paradise! I am college student residing in Columbus studying English and Journalism at Ohio State. I am hardworking and detail oriented. I've always enjoyed working with children ever since I became an aunt at the age of 13. I have personal experience with childcare from nannying my 3 nieces ( currently ages of 2,3,7) and nephew (5), which I did full-time during the start of the pandemic in March and continued until I had to return to Columbus for school. I also have professional experience from working in a school/daycare setting (A school for Early Childhood development, children 5 and under) for about 1 year. I am open to part-time or full-time nannying. I went through a childcare training course for my previous job at the school, but I am also planning and willing to get officially CPR and First Aid Certificated if requested.

- I have received the COVID-19 vaccine and can provide vaccination card upon request.

I enjoy teaching and reading to children! I also enjoy outings such as going to the park or zoo. I truly just enjoy being apart of the development and growth of a child so I will enjoy most activities!

For me, the most important part about being a nanny is watching the growth and progression of a child and actively working to ensure that they are able to come into themselves with the proper support.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with infants with Down syndrome but this was but this was in a daycare setting. I have fair amount of experience working with children with ADD and ADHD.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when the child I was caring for told me that she had won first prize for a project that we worked on together!
