I've babysat my nieces and nephew for a few years now! I've also helped take care of some special needs adults in my grandmothers home as well as helping her with everything.

Going to the park, playing board games, tag and hide and go seek, crafts, baking, helping tutoring, etc.

keeping the child safe, happy and healthy. Making sure they have fun but also stay safe and learn.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked with two adults with special needs for about a year. It's not the same but it does give me some insight on what a child would need. The adults mostly were capable of doing everyday things like laundry and making the bed etc. I am willing to learn and help in any way I can. Any schedule that is set will be followed, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My niece was being her usual bubbly self and then her mom came in. She wanted her mom, but after she had held her for like 2 minutes, she held her hands back out for me. It made me feel so special!
