More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Was on the board, and President of PTA at my daughter’s private schools in DALLAS, and Costa Rica.
Was always a volunteer for holiday celebrations and extracurricular outings at my children’s school. Was a full time mom, and adoring grandmother.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Art, cooking, sailing, boating, swimming, fishing, fly fishing, biking, walking adventures, exploring, visiting museums, community fairs, all school and church related activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Sharing the care of a child is a privilege, and a tremendous gift. Your busy day is comprised of joy, sweetness, battles, tears from boo-boos, many hugs., surprises… never a boring day, to
say the least!

Everyone knows that toddlers and teens can be formidable,
Many years of experience raising children and grandchildren, makes for an effective, respectful negotiator to all disciplinary situations with children.
Primarily you love these little treasures, and RESPECT them, requiring respect in turn. Always have agreement with
Parents to back each other in parameters of discipline.
You are guiding a new force into the world arena. Know that sounds a bit dramatic, though true.
Teaching children to be honest,
and do their best is a big job that is immensely important. Should always be done well, and with sincere loving effort

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have experience with special needs children, though all children have special needs and I am willing to learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Too many favorite moments to recount, honestly. Children are treasures, each are so very unique.
Everyday has special moments with children; so many actions, and displays of affections which are dear and truly special heart-grabbing moments.
