A little bit about me

I am 48 years old. I have two daughters 21 and 24 as well as two grand babies a 2 yr old and 5 years. I have lot of nieces and nephews and they will tell you that Tete Peggy are their favorite lol.
No matter where I am at, being in the grocery store, shopping mall, Dr office, or on an airplane kids are drawn to me. I was always told that kids can sense a great hearted person or person that has a heart of loving kids. There were 5 families that I worked for. I took care of a 2 mos old beautiful little girl until she turned 2 years old. I had a wonderful family that had a 8 and 13 year old boys that I picked up from school helped with homework and drove to basketball ball practice and tutoring. The third family I took care of was a single father of three beautiful children 3, 5, 8.
Last but certainly not least I took care of my Pastor and First Lady 6 months old son.

My most recent is 4 yrs old boy on the spectrum. I been with for a one year, they are moving out state.

Indoor activities I like to get the kids involved with is, lots of reading and acting out the characters that we are reading about. For as outdoors l like to let the kids play and run and just be kids , go to the museum, and nature walks, or if I have an infant I like to take scroll through the neighborhood or park. I also like to have Sensory playtime.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with four different families with special need s, on the spectrum, and nonverbal. I have learned so much from every last one of my babies. It takes time, patience, understanding, compromising, and compassionate. The love and care I have for these families is like loving and caring for my own children and grandchildren. I absolutely love and have heart for what I do.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment is seeing my infant growing up so fast right before my eyes. Like learning the most simple thing like waving bye bye or starting new foods and knowing the likes and dislikes.
