Hi! My name is Presley Catalina, and I’m 23 years old. I’m currently attending Texas A&M Central Texas online, where I’m pursuing my Bachelor of Business Administration. I also work at Liberty Hill High School and I am looking for a nanny position for the summer while school is out. I have been working with children since I was 12 years old and have experience with all age groups, from newborns to 14 year olds. I’ve spent over four years working in two different preschools, which has given me a strong foundation in child care and development. I truly enjoy working with kids and love getting to watch their personalities grow and shine each day. Through my experience, I’ve handled a wide range of responsibilities, including feeding (from bottles to solid foods), diaper changes, nap and bedtime routines, playtime, and helping children feel calm and safe. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a preschool in College Station for two years, where I started in the 18–24 month classroom and later transitioned to the 2–3 year old class. After moving back home, I continued my childcare experience at a preschool in Liberty Hill for a year and a half. During my time there, I began again in the 18–24 month classroom for about nine months, then gained experience across multiple age groups, including infants (6 weeks–3 months), 6–12 months, and 4–5 year-olds. I eventually found my home classroom with the 3-year-olds, where I spent the remainder of my time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging children in fun, age appropriate activities like arts and crafts, reading stories, outdoor play, and imaginative games, blowing bubbles. I also enjoy helping with learning activities that support their development, like practicing letters, numbers, and problem solving skills.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a genuine connection with the children and being someone they feel safe, supported, and happy around. I love being a positive influence in their lives and helping them grow each day. It always make me so happy to watch the kids adapt to me and become more and more excited to see me.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children who have shown developmental differences and special needs, particularly in early childhood settings where many children are still too young for a formal diagnosis. I’ve supported children who were in the process of being evaluated and have experience adapting my approach to meet each child’s individual needs, including providing extra patience, structure, and encouragement.
