A little bit about me

I had babysat throughout my childhood and adolescence, and as I got older, I learned that I had a passion for working with people— kids especially. I have much experience through working in a group home, and now working with Lutheran Social Services (part time) as an Attendant Care Associate supervising and recommending treatment and revisions of case plans for juvenile offenders and crisis kids. I am very skilled in the mental health field and medications, especially including psychiatric medications. I have cared for epileptic, autistic, Down syndrome diagnosed, and nonverbal clients. I play guitar and have done music therapy in nursing homes in the past. I love arts and crafts and doing activities with my clients to stimulate mood, cognitive functioning, and introspection.
