More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I currently work at The Little Gym of Bethesda as an Early Childhood Instructor, supporting children from 4 months to 12 years old. Alongside my work, I am also studying Early Childhood Education to deepen my understanding and passion for working with young learners.
I’ve been nannying in the Capitol Hill area for the past three years and have several great references available upon request. I’m fluent in English, certified in First Aid and CPR, and truly enjoy creating engaging, safe, and fun experiences for children—whether that’s a walk in the park, a pool day, or creative indoor play.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When I nanny, I love to mix it up with fun activities:
• Arts & crafts: painting, making bracelets, etc.
• Baking: simple cookies or cupcakes (kids love decorating!).
• Dance parties & obstacle courses: perfect for getting energy out.
• Nature walks & park days: or just sidewalk chalk and water play.
• Games & puzzles: board games, Legos, or building forts.
• Quiet time: storytime, kids yoga, or listening to audiobooks.
I try to balance high-energy fun with chill moments so everyone has a good time!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids feel safe, loved, and free to be themselves. It’s not just about keeping an eye on them — it’s about being someone they can trust and count on. I love celebrating their little wins, helping them through tough moments, and just being part of their everyday world. I want them to feel like they’re cared for, supported, and truly seen, even in the small, simple moments.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Washington, DC: Daneeka C.
Hi! I'm a 32 year old mom of a soon to be 12 year old daughter. I am the go to person of my friends and family when they need a sitter. I adore children and any child in my care will be treated with the same love, care and respect I give my own child. I'm a big kid at heart so whether we are stuck in the house or out and about we would have all the fun. I know the importance of wanting to know your child is well taken care of when you're not in their presence so I'll do all I can to reassure the parent and or parents that their baby is ok in my care by sending pictures, videos, calls and or text so you can be at peace throughout the time away.
