So I go by my middle name, Dawn. I’ve been in childcare since I was 13 years old. I babysat for many families! Then I found myself in daycare and did that for a few years till I found the perfect family to nanny for. I had my son in 2012 and the girls were teens so I slowly looked for another family to nanny for and found a few, they were great but one family lost a job and couldn’t support me and another lost a house and also couldn’t support me.. I then got back into daycare and love it but my true passion is being a nanny. I love watching children grow and to be outside! I am also willing to help with homework. I’d love a family that would be willing to include my son, not necessarily full time since he is in school. I’ve had him with previous families full time and it went well. I’d love to be able to drop him off and pick him up from school. Oh and I also love coloring, it’s so relaxing! I’d love to chat, I’m not so great at writing out what I want to say.

I cared for 1 child with ADD/ADHD…not 100% sure since he was in the diagnosis stage, but that’s what it was believed to be. I had to learn a special hold and when to give him space and how to talk him through parts of the day. The mom lost her job and obviously couldn’t keep me so I don’t know the outcome.
