Howdy! My name is Winter Eden, I am from Texas but have been in Utah for teaching for the past year. I am a dedicated and experienced caretaker, teachers aide, and nanny with over three years of experience. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am currently in college as an aspiring educator. I will be acquiring my teaching license for grades K-12 to teach art. I believe ART helps children's development by boosting fine motor skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity, while also providing a crucial outlet for emotional expression, building confidence, and teaching social skills like sharing and empathy, all through hands-on exploration of colors, shapes, and textures. It fosters cognitive growth by teaching cause-and-effect and spatial awareness, and supports emotional well-being by allowing kids to process feelings and gain a sense of accomplishment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It matters to me most to be a nanny because working with kids lights up my world when I see the grow. To be apart of building their confidence, skillset, and practice care taking is my calling. I am in school right now learning to be an art teacher and I hope activities catered to this are helpful and fun for your kiddos.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is when i was supervising four kids. 7 years olds, 4 years old, 2 year old, and a new born and the 4 year old decided peeing all over the carpet and pooping all over his bedroom walls was a good time. It was actually quite fun and enlightening (and humbling) to help teach him how to clean up and what he could use his destructive energies for instead. So we created some (maybe disturbing) art works so that instead of plastering the walls with bodily fluids we could draw comics about how peepoo man learned how to use the toilet!!!
