More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a baby sitter for two boys from [phone number hidden] before relocating back to West Virginia. I also come from a big family of 13 kids so I've had personal experience with younger siblings. I also have experience as a Mountaineer boys and girls club volunteer.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some of my favorite activities to do with children are scavenger hunts , arts and crafts ,and puzzles . I have always been a lover of playing outdoors and one of my favorite memories from growing up is making fairy houses with my younger sisters and teaching them about all the plant and animals I knew. I love doing challenging activities with kids that allows them to use their creativity and imagination as well. I would love to learn what each child's hobbies are and create engaging activities that they would love as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part about being a nanny is the happiness and safety of the children. I want the children I work for to feel safe and cared for, and to be in an environment where they can enjoy themselves and just be kids.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with a child diagnosed with autism in the past . Throughout my time with them I was able to not only learn more about the diagnosis but allow them to express themselves in a environment where they felt safe, cared for , and loved .
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite memory from being a nanny in the past was when I surprised the two boys I was watching with a outdoor camping experience at their house, we roasted marshmallows and painted pictures of the things we found outside. I will always remember the excitement on their faces and even though it was just in the backyard it was like we were on an adventure.
