More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked as a preschool teacher for over 2 years.
I specialize with infants and toddlers up to 4years old.
I have worked both in traditional curriculum private preschools in VA and MD as well as a Montessori school in MD.

I have privately babysat since the age of 14. I have also acted as a live in nanny for my niece and nephew when they were under 12m.

I do have a stepson who is currently 2, so I especially enjoy interacting with children near this age.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going to the neighborhood parks as a way to socialize with other children, however as learning enrichment I love to learn about animals as fish by visiting the zoo and the Baltimore aquarium (where I have a family pass.)

I love to create engaging sensory and learning activities with toddlers and infants. As a preschool teacher, building activities to promote growth and development is one of my specialties.

I also enjoy including children in my activities, so long as safety allows. This includes but isn’t limited to, offering options for activities, assisting in meal prep and advocating unassisted eating, inclusion in diapering to introduce potty training, and learning unassisted dressing.
