A little bit about me

I have 18 years of experience working with the elderly and disable. I am also a mom of 3 beautiful boys ages 19, 12, and 4. Caring for children is just like second nature too me. I'm a boy mom so my life is very interesting, from riding bikes to mudd riding we love the outdoors. I started off caring for my grandparents because my mom and dad both had 2 full-time jobs. My parents felt that I was responsible enough to take on the task of learning patient care. I was already familiar with them, and they made learning patient care very exciting. When the next few weeks went by I knew that this was something that I wanted to be involved in every day. I like doing everyday tasks and I thrive on routines and schedules. These are all descriptive of what a day in the life of nursing assistants or caring for children looks like. I have always been a structured person. I have always admired the profession because there are several people in my family who are in the field of child care and CNA.
