I volunteer every year to work summer camp with kids . I was usually fixing the food , teaching/helping the younger children , chaperoning field trips , that’s the only reason I look forward to the summer is to volunteer for summer camp .

I love doing arts and craft , painting , watch movies , go on field trips , learning new things(such as numbers , letters , colors , etc.) , love going to the park , playing catch , playing tag , anything the child suggest if it’s safe I will do it with them .

The most important part about being a nanny is connecting with the kids , teaching them new things, seeing them learn and grow and also connecting with the parent/parents .
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t really have experience with special needs children but I do have a little cousin that has a problem with talking so when he see me all he does is smile and make noise . I would sit down on the floor and call him to try and get him to talk to me , I feel like if I was to see him as much as I want to he would make progress because all it takes is time and patience.
