The most important part about being a part of a child's life is to always keep in mind what you are contributing to their development. The adults in any kid's life are helping to form how that child sees themself. It's vital to show children kindness, compassion, love, and respect so that they can learn to show that to themselves, and others. It's all about modeling regulated behavior and good choices!

My experience with special needs children...

As a teacher, I have plenty of experience with children with IEPs. I also have a lot of experience caring for my niece - she is nonverbal and she has Down's syndrome.

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a teacher, my favorite moments are when I can help children recognize their intelligence and capabilities. I aim to instill a strong sense of self-esteem and self-efficacy in my students. I also believe in creating a joyful atmosphere, where we can enjoy silly and fun moments together!
