More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Was a Ped ICU IN ALBANY NY. MOVE DOWN HERE TO NORTH CAROLINA 20 YEARS AGO AND I'VE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF CHILDREN SINCE FROM AGES ONE DAY OLD ALL THE WAY UP TO 12 YEARS OLD.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I'm pretty flexible with what I'll do with kids. Take them to the museums. Take them outside. Let them play independently with each other. Anything that they want to do. We can always have puzzles and sit and do puzzles the possibilities of yes endless.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part of being a nanny is guiding them to where they need to be in life. I preferred from birth on up teaching them right from wrong and letting them learn some things on their own and every day is a learning day. it just has to be done to where they don't realise they're learning but they're still being taught.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience with special needs children inside a hospital unit but have never taken care of a special need kid in their own environment but I'm sure it can't be a whole lot different as far as being able to love on them care for him and anything else that might be needed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Wow that's a pretty interesting question. There are so many favourite nanny moments with the kids that I have taken care of. To me, the best one was them running down the hall towards Me to give me a big hug after not haven't seen me for a week as I was on vacation and telling me that they love me. It doesn't get much better than that, and by the way, I miss them as much as they miss me.

Babysitter Available in Raleigh, NC: Reeana P.
Hi! My name is Reeana and i live in the Wake Forest/Rolesville area and have been babysitting for about 3 years, including experience with young children. I currently work at O2 Fitness in the Kids Club, but I’m looking for something more consistent and would love the opportunity to work with a family long-term.
I’m CPR certified, have reliable transportation, and I do school online, so I have a very flexible schedule and can be flexible with days and hours. I really enjoy keeping kids engaged and active, and I’d be happy to help with activities, playing, getting outside, and keeping them entertained without screens. I’d love to and talk and see if I could be a good fit for your family! 😊

Live-In Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Raleigh, NC: Summer R.
My name is Summer Ragland, and I am a 19-year-old NC A&T psychology sophomore. I have experience teaching for Teach For America with students ages 7-9 and supervising groups of children during events, where I focus on keeping kids safe, engaged, and having fun. I love spending my free time doing nails, taking walks, and playing with animals. Three words people use to describe me are energetic, caring, and responsible. I genuinely find joy in working with kids and in creating a positive, supportive environment that helps them feel comfortable and encouraged. Whether it’s helping with homework, organizing activities, or just being a reliable presence, I take pride in being someone both children and parents can trust.

Babysitter Available in Raleigh, NC: Daniel C.
I’m someone who truly values caring for others and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I have a deep appreciation for both the beginning and later stages of life, which is why I’m especially drawn to working with children and the geriatric population. With children, I enjoy supporting their growth, curiosity, and development as they learn about the world and grow into the people they will become. With older adults, I feel honored to provide comfort, dignity, and compassion as they move through the later chapters of life.
I believe both groups deserve patience, kindness, and genuine human connection. Whether it’s helping a child feel encouraged and safe or ensuring an older adult feels respected and cared for, I take pride in being someone who can positively impact their day. For me, caregiving is more than a job—it’s a way to contribute to people’s lives during some of their most important moments.
