I worked as a caretaker at a daycare in all different age groups, but mostly in the infant room.
I was a nanny for a small family off and on as needed. I also have worked in a few preschools.
My most recent nanny job was for a sweet family with two toddlers twice a week where I brought my older daughter with me.
I have gotten my RBT license and have worked in behavioral health for a couple years now, working with kiddos with autism and behavioral issues.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy encouraging children in using their imaginations, whether that be with coloring, playing pretend, reading, or having dance parties! I really try to stay away from screen time and electronics unless as a prize to earn! Going on adventure walks and just getting outdoors can do wonders for Little's spirits
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being there for children in anything and everything. It is important for a nanny to be another safe adult that a child can trust will be there for them and that parents can rely on

The most important part about being a nanny...
One time, I had dyed my hair over a weekend and came back and the sweet little boy who was three years old at the time, stared at me for a good 30 seconds before he said straight-faced "Oh hello stranger, how do you do?" and reached his hand out for me to shake. He pretended the rest of the day to not know me, showing me around the house, introducing me to the rest of the family, etc. He tried so hard not to giggle the entire time, and impressively kept his character! He was and is a very bright kid. I could stop laughing and this little chunck being so serious!
