Hi, my name is Rachel and I’m a calm-natured and adaptable 27 year old!
I’m looking for a full or part position and my rates start at $28/hour for one child. I have worked in childcare for over seven years, nannying for three families. I’m currently a counselor at the Brooklyn Music School, working with children from ages 4 to 10. My responsibilities there include picking the children up from their respective schools and walking them to the music school, helping with homework needs, and taking care of large classrooms of children. I enrich their learning experience there by assisting with music classes and encouraging artistic expression through various crafts and creative challenges.
My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and fun space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, and encouraging independent time.
