More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
As I said working as a summer camp counselor I worked with kids of all ages. I mostly worked with girls because it was a girls sleep away camp but I did get to work occasionally with the boys from the brother camp.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing anything but arts and crafts is my go to!
I’m also a wonderful tea party guest and a master builder of legos!

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny or any other child care provider is the kids! (Of course the presents are too!)
Besides that it’s safety. While the parent(s) are away their kid(s) are the most important thing to me until they are back in their parent(s) care.

My experience with special needs children...
The only experience I have with any special needs is autism, specifically high functioning. One of my family friends toddlers I have watched since she was a newborn recently got diagnosed with autism.
My older sister is also autistic and still lives at home so it’s something I’m used to!

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is when the little girl I nannied rolled over for the first time during tummy time!
Also how she only ever wanted to watch Tinkerbell, never anything else.

I am Red Cross lifeguard and CPR certified, and have extensive childcare experience.
I just graduated from St. Andrew’s School, which is a 100% boarding co-ed high school in Delaware. This past year I was a “Residential Leader” on a freshman girls dorm, where I was the point person between all 35 freshman girls and dorm faculty.
Last summer, I was a summer camp counselor for 5 weeks at an all girls sleep away camp in New Hampshire. I was the counselor of 12 year olds, as well as teaching dance, wood working, fiber arts, rowing, and lifeguarding girls of all ages.
Throughout high school I also taught a weekly adaptive dance class, leading choreography and dance step sequences.
I also have childcare experience with younger children as well, and am eager to work with younger children as well!
