I'm 49 years old and I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I have 7 kids and 26 grandkids ages range from 18 years old to 6 months old. I have my certificate for a medical assistant and I have worked as a CNA, Care Provider, babysitter, and right now I'm attempting college of the Sequoias in Hanford and I attended online classes for Child Development and Education. I am CPR certified and have my first aide. I do start college back August 15th of this year but I'm doing online classes this semester and I'd be willing to work any shift that I was needed I just can't work all day and I recently back in July of 2021 got into automobile accident with a semi truck and I totalled my car. Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy painting drawing arts and crafts I tried to limit children on their smart devices I feel kids are on their devices too much these days and don't get enough mental stimulation enjoying other activities reading stories and sitting outside when it's nice and cool and let the kids play
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is to be there for the child to help the child accomplish any goals that he or she may need to feed nurture and take care of them when their parents aren't around and care for them as their own child because that's what the parents would want that's what I believe
My experience with special needs children...
I had two sons that were special needs and a grandson that was special needs that I helped take care of every now and then my grandson had several posse and a brain tumor one of my boys was autistic with learning disabilities and ADHD and my other son and learning disabilities an anchor issues
The most important part about being a nanny...
My most memorable moment and watching children is when you see them try and try something and when they finally get it their face lights up and they're so excited or when they try something new and they like it their face lights up and they're just ecstatic about what they just learned I think the funniest thing for the most enjoyment I get from children is hearing the laughter and the way they like to tell stories about things they're so precise about how they tell their stories
