I hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I am certified in early childhood education (birth–age 8) and have extensive experience working with children from infancy through middle school as well as in special education. I have supported infants with routines, feeding, sleep schedules, and developmental milestones, while providing structured, engaging, and nurturing care for preschool- and elementary-aged children.
My professional background includes working as a toddler teacher, preschool special education teacher, and elementary special education teacher in self-contained classrooms. These roles strengthened my ability to manage multiple ages at once, create predictable routines, support social-emotional development, and tailor care to each child’s individual needs. I enjoy engaging children in activities that support their development while making learning fun and meaningful. Some of my favorites include sensory play, music and movement, arts and crafts, and hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity and self-expression. I love incorporating outdoor play, nature walks, and gross motor activities to support physical development and self-regulation. I also enjoy reading together, doing interactive storytelling, and supporting early literacy through play. When working with children with special needs, I especially enjoy adapting activities to meet individual abilities, incorporating visual supports, and creating calm, structured environments that help children feel successful and confident.

The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, supportive relationship with both the child and the family. Creating a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment allows children to feel secure, confident, and understood. I believe a great nanny is attentive to each child’s individual needs, communicates openly with families, and provides structure while remaining flexible and patient. Supporting children’s emotional, social, and developmental growth—while respecting family values and routines—is what truly makes a nanny successful.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are when a child reaches a milestone or overcomes a challenge and feels genuinely proud of themselves. These moments can be big or small — learning a new skill, gaining independence in a daily routine, or successfully managing emotions during a difficult moment. I love being there to offer encouragement, patience, and support while allowing the child to experience their own success. Watching their confidence grow and seeing how that sense of accomplishment carries into other areas of their day is incredibly rewarding.
